About Me About me: Born in small town, Kentucky. Changed a lot since then, interests, et cetera. Still love sports, especially football. I was always "cerebral", that hasn't changed still exploring anything "hidden". Married the greatest girl on the earth, we're not perfect, just perfect for each other! We have two kids, my beautiful daughter 12 and a strapping young son, 3. Hope to make new friends and reconnect with old ones on here...

Movies I love sci-fi. Star Wars, Star Trek, The Matrix series, old sci-fi like Forbidden Planet, etc. Anything that actually makes you think rather than become a drooling idiot. Zardoz

TV "I wish you could turn up the intelligence on TV; there's a knob called brightness but it doesn't work." - Gallagher Most TV is outright garbage, Bread and Circuses for the masses. However, there are some programs/channels worth watching. Again sci-fi comes in first Stargate/Atlantis; the New Battlestar Galatica (best show on TV); History Channel, Discovery Channel, BBC, etc... oh and the new Rome series on HBO...Anything on these channels is interesting and educational. I don't understand why people do not want to better themselves... do you?

Books I have a huge library. Favorites right now are anything by Joseph Campbell, esoteric/occult topics, Scottish Rite, alchemy, sci-fi, anything historical. Currently reading: Freakonomics.

Likes I'm interested in all kinds of things. I'm a 32º Scottish Rite Mason, I was raised in Kansas, right now I don't attend Lodge, although I do want to start going back. I love history, especially world history. I love to study anything esoteric in nature, comparative religion. Favorite topics right now are Joseph Campbell, alchemy, gnosticism, existential philosophy and other branches just trying to get a handle on Nietzsche. Enlightenment philosophy, especially Voltaire, Holbach, others. Also love reading theoretical physics, chaos theory, string theory, etc.

Dislikes Ignorant;self-righteous; closed-minded people who think they need to "save" you.
